Uploading your story

1. Prepare Your file

Ensure your file is saved in a supported format (e.g., .mp4, .mp3, or .png). Story supports video, audio, and images and we are planning on supporting plain text formats in the future.

2. Create an Account or Log In

You need to be signed in to upload to Story. Use the login button at the top right of the screen. New users can register with an email, username and password.

3. Start uploading

Navigate to the upload page using the upload button at the top of the screen, or the if you are on mobile.
Once there, you'll be prompted to add a title, description, date and any tags that describe your story. This helps readers find and enjoy your work. You may also set a privacy value to make your story public or private.
NOTE: The date field is intended for when the file itself was created and not when it was uploaded. If you are unsure of the date, then leave this field blank.

4. Upload Your File

Navigate to the Upload page. Click "Choose File" to select your story from your device. After selecting, click the "Upload" button to start. Do not navigate away from the upload page until you get the confirmation that the upload has completed.

5. Submit and Share

After reviewing everything, click "Submit." Your story will now be live on the platform and accessible via your the search-media page. Share the link with your audience!
